It is also directly connected with important traffic routes such as National Highway 1A, the North-South railway, the Danang - Quang Ngai expressway, Asia routes connected with Laos, Cambodia and Thailand, etc... Gemadept Dung Quat Port plays an important role as a major logistical hub in Dung Quat Economic Zone and for nearby provinces, promoting cargo transportation nationwide and global transport network. With integrated system of berths, container yards, warehouses and modern handling equipment, Dung Quat port is capable of accommodating the largest vessel size up to 70,000 DWT.
