Gemalink Deep-sea Port
Gemalink International Port is a joint venture between Gemadept and the world's leading partner, CMA -Terminals (France). The project is the pride of Vietnamese people, and is one of the top 19 International ports capable of accommodating the largest vessel up to 200,000 DWT. This will be one of the most important transshipment hubs of Southeast Asia.

Along with Gemadept's existing port network, Gemalink deep-sea port, when puts into operation, will double Gemadept's port capacity and becomes a reliable choice for leading main line operators, as well as for the import and export enterprises in Southeast Asia.

According to the Government’s master plan, Gemalink belongs to seaport cluster No.5; this is crucial because it is the gateway to the South of Vietnam, which makes the great contribution to not only economic growth of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, but also nationwide.

Gemalink port has several competitive advantages: convenient location at the river mouth with the deepest draft for proper turning basin, the longest main berth that can accommodate 3 mother ships at the same time; moreover, providing dedicated side berth exclusive for feeders to link HCMC and Mekong Delta area. The port has state-of-the-art handling equipment with designed capacity in the first phase of 1.5 million TEU and the project completion of 3 million TEU.

By completing the construction at the end of 2020, Gemalink marks a milestone of outstanding development and ready to operate in early 2021.
