The sound of lion drums filled the air, motivating the Gemadept Dung Quat Port volunteers to bring joy to the children during the Mid-Autumn Festival.
On September 24, 2023 (August 10 in lunar calendar), on the buses filled with love and care, we, along with other volunteers and benefactors in Quang Ngai province, brought the "Mid-Autumn Festival for the Children" Program to 90 children affected by Agent Orange and orphans in 4 communes Hanh Thien, Hanh Thinh, Hanh Tin Dong, Hanh Tin Tay (Nghia Hanh). The "Mid-Autumn Festival – Back to school with the Children" Program was also brought to 257 poor Cor ethnic children in Son Ban village, Tra Son commune (Tra Bong).
Volunteers quickly decorated the place and stage, cooked meals, and distributed gifts for the children. The gifts were school supplies and protections, such as backpacks, hats, sandals, and raincoats, protecting them from the heavy rains and wet cold.
The stage was filled with the enthusiasm of the volunteers and performers as the children cheered and clapped. In particular, the lion dance and magic show made the children really captured their attention.
Ngoài các phần quà đã được trao tận tay cho các em, tại Trà Bồng, Ban tổ chức còn tặng cho trường các công trình cung cấp nước sạch, máy lọc nước, máy hiên ngoài trời và hoàn thiện công trình phụ .. giúp các em trong quá trình học tập được tốt hơn.

All the employees of Gemadept Dung Quat Port want to help children in need in the province through many volunteer programs, in addition to the Mid-Autumn Festival Program.
Although this year's Mid-Autumn Festival has ended, the smiles and cheerfulness in the eyes of the children remain, keeping the spirit of the Mid-Autumn Festival alive.
