On the morning of October 26, 2025, at Sala Urban Area, Ho Chi Minh City, the Gemadept Run 2025 – Special Edition, organized by Gemadept Corporation (Ticker: GMD – HoSE), was a resounding success. This meaningful sporting event attracted thousands of athletes, partners, and customers, marking Gemadept’s 35-year journey of “Partnership and Development.”

In 2025, the Gemadept Run was held at both ends of the country—Hai Phong (October 19) and Ho Chi Minh City (October 26). More than just a sporting event, it was a journey of connection and shared love, spreading the spirit of “One Vietnam – One Pioneering Spirit” across the nation.
Gemadept Run 2025 brought together nearly 5,000 athletes of all ages. Notably, it saw enthusiastic participation from leading domestic and international enterprises across various sectors—including manufacturing, import-export, shipping, logistics, finance, and media—alongside running enthusiasts. The event featured 5KM and 10KM distances, catering to a wide range of participants.
Concrete Action: Investing in Future Generations and Supporting Our Community
With the mission “Pioneering Steps– For Future Generations,” Gemadept Run continues to channel its resources into educational development projects. The funds raised through the program aim to help underprivileged children in highland areas access knowledge in a safe, healthy environment with high-quality facilities.
Specifically, as part of this year’s event, Gemadept has taken the following timely and practical actions:
- Building Schools: Gemadept Run 2025 continued to raise funds from ticket sales and donations to rebuild the Huoi Hoc Site – Bao Nam Kindergarten in Ky Son District, Nghe An Province, with a total project budget of 820,000,000 VND.
- Disaster Relief Support: Gemadept collaborated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong City to contribute 2 billion VND to support people in Northern regions severely affected by recent storms, helping communities stabilize their lives and overcome hardships.
One week prior, on the morning of October 19, 2025, the Gemadept Run 2025 – Special Edition officially kicked off the Group’s annual community sports series at the Hai Phong Opera House Square.
The event garnered a strong response from thousands of athletes and received the participation and support of senior city leaders, including: Mr. Le Tien Chau, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Head of the Hai Phong National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Nguyen Duc Tuan, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong; Ms. Tran Thi Hoang Mai, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism; along with representatives from various other city departments, agencies, and local authorities.
