Yard Planner

1. Mother ship operation (30%)

• Before the ship arrives: check the location of the containers on the yard to see if they are in line with the yard loading strategy; and rearrange them accordingly (if any);
• Based on the ship’s docking location and loading and unloading capacity, arrange equipment on the yard to serve the process of unloading goods from the ship to the Port
• Update information on the system to serve the ship operation process
• During the mother ship operation process: Monitor the unloading process through the CATOS system
• After the mother ship operation process: update container information on the system, receive and send container damage reports to the shipping line.

2. Unloading barges and receiving containers from the port (25%)

• Prepare suitable equipment for unloading barges
• Monitor the unloading process from barges to the Port via the system
• Monitor containers received from the port to arrange suitable locations
• Receive and send information reporting container damage to the shipping line.

3. Divide empty containers to ICDs as required and plan for barges to bring imported goods from

• Port to ICD (20%)
• Receive information on barge plans to export goods from the Port to ICD;
• Make a list of exported containers to barges
• Print barge documents

4. Receive service requests from customers (inspection, fumigation, quarantine, repair) (10%)

• Receive service registration emails from customers, ICDs, shipping lines.
• Transfer containers into/out of the service yard according to registration information
• Coordinate with the operations department to perform the service

5. Report the volume of containers in stock at the yard, the status of container transfer to shipping lines and ICDs (10%)

6. Other tasks assigned by the Head/Deputy Head of Department, Team Leader. (5%)

• Have a bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in transportation, maritime, supply chain
• English: listening, speaking, reading and writing in English (TOIEC 650+)
• Have experience in the transportation and supply chain industry
• Have experience in port operations
• Planning

• Communicate with foreigners
