Purchasing Officer

Gemalink Terminal: Tan Loc Quarter, Tan Phuoc Ward, Ho Chi Minh City

• Procurement Implementation
  • Receive, review, and verify the completeness and validity of purchase requests from internal departments.
  • Obtain quotations, conduct comparison and analysis, and propose suitable suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery schedule criteria.
  • Prepare approval documents and carry out procurement procedures in accordance with company regulations.
• Monitoring and Control
  • Monitor supply progress to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Coordinate inspection and acceptance of goods/services; handle issues related to quality, quantity, and delivery timelines.
  • Control costs and minimize unplanned expenses.
• Payment and Documentation
  • Prepare Payment Requests and complete supporting documents in compliance with financial procedures.
  • Maintain proper filing of procurement documents and update data in the system.
  • Prepare periodic reports on procurement status, progress, and costs for direct supervisors.

• Bachelor’s/College degree in Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics, or related fields.
• At least 2 years of experience in procurement/supply chain. Experience in purchasing technical materials and services in operations/port/logistics environments is preferred.
• Good understanding of procurement procedures, bidding processes, and contract management. Strong ability to analyze quotations and evaluate suppliers.
• Strong negotiation, planning, and progress-tracking skills. Proficient in Excel; ERP knowledge is an advantage.
