May 30, 2024 – Gemadept representatives attended a two-day training program (May 29-30, 2024) on "Green transformation, emission reduction and greenhouse gas inventory practices" organized by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Enterprise Development and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) organized through the Vietnam Private Sector Competitiveness Enhancement Project. The training program provided in-depth knowledge about greenhouse gas inventories, legal regulations related to green transformation and emission reduction, as well as challenges and opportunities that businesses may face.

Leading experts in the field of greenhouse gas inventory shared updated knowledge and practical guidance, helping students better understand the context and legal regulations related to green transformation and reduction of domestic and international greenhouse gas emissions. In addition, the program also creates opportunities for students to exchange experiences and discuss practical solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in business activities.

Participating in the training program is part of Gemadept's sustainable development strategy, which aims to raise awareness and equip employees with knowledge about ESG, greenhouse gas inventory, green transformation, and sustainable business. From there, build and implement effective emission reduction solutions in the Company's production and business activities.
