On the morning of May 21, 2026, the High-Level Forum on “Promoting the Maritime Financial Center Ecosystem within the Vietnam International Financial Center in HCMC” was successfully held. Co-organized by Gemadept Group, the Vietnam International Financial Center in Ho Chi Minh City (VIFC-HCMC), and the Ho Chi Minh City Institute for Development Studies, the event drew the participation of regulatory authorities, financial institutions, shipping lines, logistics companies, and strategic domestic and international partners.

At the event, Gemadept Group officially affirmed its role as the pioneering founder, connector, and leader in implementing the International Maritime Financial Center (IMFC) Ecosystem—a model highly anticipated to establish a foundation for the synchronized development of Vietnam’s maritime, logistics, and financial sectors.

Speaking at the forum, Mr. Pham Quoc Long, Deputy General Director of Gemadept Group, shared the strategic direction, stating that Gemadept defines its role at the IMFC not merely as an investor or participating partner, but as a strategic member that connects and drives the development of the ecosystem to solve real market needs. Accordingly, Gemadept aims to build a synchronized port-logistics-finance-services ecosystem with substantive operational capacity and deep integration with the global supply chain.
