On July 12 – July 14, 2019, the leaders of CJ Gemadept Shipping (CJ GSC) held a business and production conference and a preliminary Teambuilding meeting for the first 6 months of 2019 in the beautiful city of Phan Thiet, where it’s sunny and has stunning beaches. By the end of the first 6 months, CJ GSC has achieved very positive results on almost all the transport routes. To achieve these encouraging results, in addition to favorable objective factors from the market, there are constant efforts from the leadership level to each employee in every unit.
With the aim of turning coaching into a stamp of Gemadept’s culture, through which everyone works with openness, sincere suggestions, and frank exchanges in a spirit of mutual support to accomplish common goals, Gemadept has implemented coaching to each manager of the group in general and of the unit in particular.
On July 3rd, 2019, the representative of the BSC Group Project Board had a session to guide the implementation of BSC-KPIs for Phuoc Long Port. Within 60 minutes, Mr. Pham Quang Huy, on behalf of the Project Board, conveyed the most basic information about the BSC definition, the BSC implementation toolkit as well as proposing a real roadmap for implementing this plan.
Following the Leader mindset course in Vung Tau and Yen Tu in October 2018, this year’s Conference spent 1.5 days on the intensive psychological coaching skills training program. The training course helps to equip knowledge and techniques for each level of management to coach themselves and then coach subordinates on how to identify and identify “blind spots” – psychological barriers that limit the capacity of the individuals.
