On June 16, 2023, Gemadept welcomed teachers and students of the Institute of International Education and Training – School of Transport (IEC) in Ho Chi Minh City to visit Gemalink Deep-sea Port. Visitors had the opportunity to experience practical activities of the Port. From there, they could to make connections between the field of study and real work.
“Friendship Day” – On May 27, 2023, Gemalink Port and CMA-CGM Vietnam team together held a friendly football match in Phu My, Ba Ria – Vung Tau.
On May 29, 2023, Gemadept organized for students and new employees of the Group to visit Gemalink Deep Water Port. This is a good opportunity for students and new employees of Gemadept to experience the actual activities of the Port and enrich their professional knowledge in the field of port operation.
The Company Training Committee kicked off 2023 with a sharing session on leadership coaching for the Gemadept’s managers, held on January 13, 2023 with the purpose of reviewing the knowledge of coaching in a simple and practical approach.
In order to enhance knowledge, skills and change the management mindset of Gemadept managers, on May 21 and 22, 2020, Human Resources Department collaborated with Corporate Training Solutions (CTS) to organize a Coaching course. This course trained directly for not only 21 key managers at the Head Office but also 101 heads of departments at Head Office and Phuoc Long Port, Dung Quat Port and Gemadept’s ports system in Hai Phong. The lecturer in charged of the training course was Ms. Bui Thuy Linh – one of the leading experts in this field, had participated in guiding Coaching programs in Vietnam and other countries.
On July 20, 2020, at the headquarters of Gemadept Corporation (Gemadept), the Launching Ceremony of Sales and Marketing Training Program 2020 took place in the joy and excitement of all participants. Attendees included representatives of the Company’s Board of Directors, Training Board, leaders of departments and units and especially 27 young and dynamic Sales and Marketing candidates participating in this training course.
After a short time of implementation at Gemadept HO and Gemadept’s port system, the 5S program recorded positive results. The working environment was significantly improved: tidy, clean, and nice. These contributed to build the professional image in the workplace of Gemadept’s employees such as safety, convenience and efficiency.
