After more than 2 months of announcing the event and receiving a great number of responses from the Company’s employees, customers, and partners, on the morning of October 22, 2023, at Sala Urban Area, Ho Chi Minh City, the annual “Gemadept Run 2023 – The Way Forward” organized by Gemadept Corporation (Stock code: GMD) officially took place, attracting thousands of attendees.
The annual running tournament, “Gemadept Run 2023 – The Way Forward,” aims to build a strong corporate running community and bring the best experiences to each participant, while also spreading great values to the community.
This is the second year Gemadept Run, organized by Gemadept, continues the message “Pioneer in health – Pioneer in Spirit – Pioneer in Overcoming Challenges”.
Gemadept Run 2023 attracted over 1,000 participants, including employees, customers, partners, and media agencies, promoting physical and mental health, solidarity, and community engagement through philanthropy.
Through the event, Gemadept and participants launched a joint charity fundraising initiative called “Pioneer for future generations” to send love to children living in difficult circumstances. The fund will be used to provide children living in the highland areas with healthy learning and developing conditions in a safe learning environment, preparing them for their future journey.
The fundraiser is for the School Building Project, to rebuild a temporary school. The program has received contributions from a large number of athletes, businesses, organizations, individuals, etc. and all donated money is used to build the Ho Thau Kindergarten in Tam Duong district, Lai Chau province, to provide students there with a healthy and safe environment to study, play, and develop.
Gemadept’s 2023 run ended in high spirits, and Gemadept Run – The Way Forward promises to continue promoting exercise and spreading great values to the community in the future.
