On January 8, 2025, Gemadept Corporation, along with its member units, including Gemalink Deep-sea Port, Nam Dinh Vu Port, and SCSC, were honored to be recognized in the Top 10 Prestigious Logistics Companies of 2024.
The ceremony to announce and honor outstanding enterprises, organized by Vietnam Report in collaboration with the VietnamNet newspaper, took place in Hanoi, gathering representatives from leading enterprises in key economic sectors. This is an important milestone, not only recognizing the achievements that Gemadept has made throughout its development process but also affirming the Company’s pioneering role in promoting a modern and sustainable port and logistics ecosystem.
Gemadept has built and operated two important ports in the logistics value chain in Vietnam: Gemalink Port and Nam Dinh Vu Port. In the context of Vietnam’s logistics industry recovering strongly, with total cargo throughput at seaports increasing by 14% in the first 10 months of 2024, Gemadept promptly seized opportunities, expanded its service network, invested in logistics infrastructure, and enhanced service quality. The development of industrial parks in Vietnam, along with continuous FDI inflows, has created a large demand for transportation, warehousing, and distribution services, and Gemadept has affirmed its key role in meeting these requirements
