As Vietnam celebrates the upcoming 80th anniversary of the founding of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2025), every Vietnamese citizen feels an even deeper sense of pride and gratitude for the immense sacrifices of past generations. In the spirit of this sacred sentiment, on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, the leadership and employees of Gemadept solemnly organized a wreath-laying and incense-offering ceremony at the Ho Chi Minh City Martyrs’ Cemetery.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is an annual tradition and a significant cultural aspect of Gemadept. The event, held every year on War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27), embodies the moral principle of ‘When you drink water, remember the source’ and expresses the Company’s endless gratitude to the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the nation’s independence and freedom.<\/p>\n

In the serene atmosphere of the cemetery, where thousands of martyrs rest, the delegation observed a minute of silence with deep reverence. The fragrant incense and vibrant wreaths offered carried the heartfelt gratitude of today\u2019s generation. The sacrifice of these heroes wrote golden pages in history, ensuring a unified nation and a peaceful life for all of us to build a better future.<\/p>\n

Alongside these activities, the spirit of gratitude was also spread across all units within the system. On the occasion of the 78th War Invalids and Martyrs Day, the Southern GMD Port Cluster<\/strong>, in collaboration with Customs Area 4, solemnly held a memorial and tribute ceremony for the heroic martyrs. The ceremony provided an opportunity for the employees of both units to collectively honor and express deep gratitude to the generations of ancestors who sacrificed their lives and youth for the nation\u2019s independence and freedom.<\/p>\n

These meaningful actions not only evoke pride in the nation\u2019s glorious past but also inspire spiritual strength and foster unity among every member of the Gemadept family.
