Since 2003 Gemadept has expanded its container transport to liner service. Nowadays with the container vessel fleet of 6 feeders and 12 S1, S2 ships of vnd 1,200 billion investment, Gemadept is one of the biggest carriers in domestic liner service: North - South, Hcm - Cantho and in Intra Asia ones to/from Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Hongkong, Taiwan and Campodia.

2. Project cargo transport service

Gemadept is one of the leading companies specializing in transporting project cargo and OOG cargo. Heavy lift shipment of hundreds of tons can be transported by heavy-duty barges and trailer to the remote areas having difficult terrain, to Cambodia, Laos. In Cambodia Gemadept supplies services to Wartsila and MHI and becomes the strongest cargo transport company there.

Thanks to hi-tech equipments operated by experienced staffs who have profound knowledge in river and inland transport, Gemadept has successfully and safely transported thousand shipments of MHI, Siemens, Mitsui, Flsmidth, Alston, Vatechâ to serve various factories of cement, power, chemical and industrial zones in Vietnam.

3. Inland transport service

With the biggest truck fleet( 150 truck heads & 250 chassis and other specialised equipments) and skillful drivers working 24/24 hours GMD is quite able to meet any demand of importers, exporters, shipowners, cargo owners.

4. Ship Management

Gemadept is now managing and operating the fleet of 6 sea-going ships and 12 S1, S2 ships of over 5,000 Teus total capacity.
