Gemadept, Recruitment and Training for Development Plan of 2008-2012

With a series of big projects did and are coming into operation including Gemadept Tower, vessel fleet, Gemadept Dung Quat International Port, Le Chan Port, Gemadept Logistics Company and with projects in deep-sea port, Tan Son Nhat Air-cargo Terminal… which will be soon deployed, Gemadept has a high demand in professional human resource. Foreseeing the demand, the company has paid much attention to the strategy for human resource development since 2006.
On 8th August 2008, Gemadept's management gave the new recruited employees - second time in 2008 - a warm welcome. The employees were selected among approximately 200 applicants through 3 writing tests and 1 professional interview. Especially, in this recruitment, the company has received 5 students who were granted "Gemadept Scholarship". Since 2007, the company has been carried out the “Gemadept Scholarship Program” and granted scholarships to 35 outstanding students at the University of Transport in Hochiminh City, University of Economics - Hochiminh City and Foreign Trade University.
Gemadept is refered to as one of the leading companies in Vietnam's maritime with many excellent experts and professional staff, which achieved average TOEIC score of over 500. Moreover, Gemadept successfully maintains company tradition and culture during nearly twenty years of operation. These are critical elements contributing to the continuous and sustainable development of Gemadept Corporation.
